A new broadway play titled The Band’s Visit follows an Egyptian band that gets stuck in Israel while touring. This story fascinated me due to the elements that I had not yet heard of in a musical. There are so many stories that musicals adopt but when the stories approach political disarray it truly shocks me and can produce riveting values in the arts. Continue reading
